@JLo
Unfortuantely the form where the DOJ tells you what they have registered to you takes 4-6 months to get the result back.
Not good news on the VOLREG route either, because I know of no way for YOU to check and see that your form was accepted and entered into the database except for the same 4-6 month process. You can, however, when you complete your VOLRREG form, but before you leave the transaction, generate a PDF of your form. I think you only have this one fleeting opportunity to do this. This is important. I had a similar, but yet different situation in San Diego where the gun I put on the application and was on my training certificate differed from what was in the system by a single letter like an "E" instead of an "F". Either the dealer was a sloppy writer (this was when it was all hand-written) or the DOJ clerk was tired that day. My San Diego clerk accepted my PDF of the VOLREG form as sufficient proof and issued the license for what I own, rather than what the DOJ showed in the system since the nature of they typographical error was obvious and not made by me.
Your deputy may accept similar proof, but you would have to check first. I think the best route would be to go back to the dealer if possible and see if they can give you a copy of your records. Also check with the deputy on that. There is no point in either of these correction methods unless the deputy agrees in advance to accept them.I wish today's liberals could understand: You cannot be generous by giving away other peoples' money and you cannot demonstrate your virtue by your willingness to give up other peoples' rights.
The more time I spend on this forum, the more sense kcbrown makes.

Congrats on that!! You seem super prepared and taking that risk because the training and livescan is not cheap. As for the firearm registration, that is a huge liability issue on the FFL. Good luck figuring that one out. You probably have to go through the DOJ and have copies of the DROS which is going to take a month or more. Just be open and honest with the investigator.Applied on 04/5/2021

I did.
Maybe I'm not looking at this correctly, but I don't think it's supposed to be "I want a CCW license, what cause can I come up with to get one." I think it's meant to be "my life is in danger, how can I legally protect myself."
As I said, I don't think everyone is meant to have a CCW license. I've lived over 40 years without one and (knock on wood) I have yet to need one. Having said that, it's better to have it, but not need it vs finding yourself in a situation where you need it, but don't have it.Comment

Thanks Lockdown! I appreciate your help.
My attitude is to follow directions to the key, but also be prepared and get everything out of the way and let the chips fall where they may. I took a 300 gamble but if it works then I’m happy.
I. Will keep you guys posted.
I am the sword and the shield to my family, and this is the key. I will update you guys after my interview as need be too!
Cheers!c

It's only getting worse....at this rate we're 3-4 weeks per 1 week on the calendar.
So to go through all May's applicants, it's going to take 2-3 months.Lockdown
