From what I remember when I applied for COE and what it says on the OAG site, unless you let your COE lapse beyond 90 days, only then you need new fingerprints - https://oag.ca.gov/firearms/cert-eligibility

Yeah, it totally makes sense if you are an everyday user but not for someone that had done it 6 months or a few years back.

I will offer that to the LASD if I get an interview, but I expect them to decline it and require one for themselves, based on responses others have made much much earlier in this message series.

I put the Live Scan dates in there because it was still relevant to Live Scan turn around times which were pretty slow for quite awhile.
I have a COE and only did a livescan once when I applied. I've renewed 2 times already without having to get a new livescan.

When I applied for a COE & FFL 3, the FFL only took about a month and a half but the COE took a bit over 2 months.

Thank you, I am an honest person. I did not want to lie about something. I could've easily said no but I did what I thought was right.

My gc was based on my self employment. I am a business owner and collect cash & confidential information from my clients from cash to ssn. My area has been a mess lately and riddled with crime..... I am not just applying for the hell of it.

That is correct. I have renewed twice for my COE without new prints but, the CCW requires their own live scan with prints. Just want to be sure we are saying the same thing.

Of course they require separate scans, since they go to separate organizations/etc

Kind of tough to say boss. My app was sent in early april and I got an interview a bit over 2 months after. They did cash the check in about a few weeks. It does vary from person to person. My friend is right, just stay on the post and read a few months prior and you will get an idea.
