Anyone else have their ATI number not come up after waiting a few days (in my case, 3 days)

After 3 months of waiting for an interview and finally getting one, hoping the small mailbox store in Norwalk didn't mess up on my livescan and never submit it to DOJ.

I may be mistaken, but livescan is valid for 6 months, so, if it's done on their form, with all the proper ORI/Mailcode, should be ok

Yeah I was given a live scan form at the end of my interview.

My wife did her live scan before her interview. She already has a CCW permit from AZ.

They didn't give you a live scan form because he's asking the undersheriff, who approves the CCW permits, about your dance with Mary J.

Once the undersheriff says weed is ok, then you'll get the go ahead from your interviewing deputy.

That meeting usually takes place on Mondays, but since this Monday is a holiday, the soonest you'll hear a denial will be the following Monday.

training done: 7/3. Will submit when requested my LASD. Not sure if I want to submit earlier or not. Deputy who interviewed me was pretty adamant about following their schedule.

Did they tell you directly to do the livescan and training?

I'm pretty confused to be honest .... Do people do the livescan just before and after the interview or actually wait for the "gp" from the investigator to actually go ahead an do it?

Some folks are proactive and do training and live scan either before, or immediately after, interview. Most are handed live scan form after interview and either told to do it or wait for instructions. My deputy told me to do it and training, so that is what I did.

Correct. I needed to renew my COE because with it and FFL03 I can order ammunition online from certain vendors out of state. The FFL03 is good for several years, but the COE only one year. So it is an annual Live Scan submission. I will offer that to the LASD if I get an interview, but I expect them to decline it and require one for themselves, based on responses others have made much much earlier in this message series.

Yes, they will require a new one. I just renewed my COE two months ago for the exact same reason as you and I had to do a new live scan.

Drug use, even marijuana is more than likely going to be a Disqualifier.

I know many counties disqualify based on drug use as well as any type of domestic violence issues.

How long these issues were in the past may come into consideration when they make the final decision to approve or not.

His was the first case where he wasn't handed a live scan form. lol
