We don't have performance evaluations where I work. If your not cutting it they call you in, give you 2 weeks to fix it, then your gone if you don't, everyone knows where they stand. On your anniversary date they will give you a cost of living, but they pay above market already. I have pay stubs and business cards, that's it.

Maybe just a letter from your Company stating you are currently employed and in good standing? If they ask, just explain situation to your deputy. They will work with you.

Dros was made sse through 2a zone. Why buy a Shield sse? Cuz I was buying one a month back when they put a kibosh to sse and I didn't like the pop up fin of the loaded chamber indicator. Gonna put a g17 and g19 on my list... Was thinking of one other hence the shield...

My app was delivered June 8th and check cashed yesterday. I guess my application went to the bottom of the pile.

Good morning boys.

Two straight weeks where LASD is busting their *** to get interviews.

I think this next week will be big for pick ups since we haven't seen a big wave of pick ups.

Great job to everyone who got interviewed the last two weeks. That 4th of July holiday was a huge speed bump in the progress.

Almost done with April applications, probably another 3 weeks and they will wrap that up.

We are literally.01 % or 1000 chosen so far out of 10,000,000 million. Think about the odds and be patient.

In my interview the deputy said on a normal day this deputy does 8-10 interviews per day. The group we have posting on here is very very small in comparison to all apps put in. I follow some CCW training class on social media and there classes are always full. The way I look at is before we had no chance and we all hoped and waited without it being a problem, now we have a good chance of getting issued one and we now just have to wait like before, but the outcome will have a better payoff.
