Application Received 12/7/22 via USPS with tracking
Cashiers Check cashed 12/29/22

Decided to follow up December 4 2023 as been one year.

No record of me applying, even though I gave them the tracking number with signature and proof cashiers check was cashed by them from BofA.

Forced re apply and they wont refund my $30, even though they lost my application and DID cash the check. Sorry, nothing we can do. I had a copy of the application of what I sent in, but they will not accept it.

So, just reapply and first available interview is Feb 2025.

Yes.. all online. I mailed my application and it was lost. Forced to start over.

WOW i just got the call... from unknown number as expected... pickup is on 1/3/24.

I finally got the call a few days ago. I?ve been too busy to post.

I mailed my application on 7/18/22 and still haven't received my interview phone call.

Unfortunately, you have quite a while. My application was received 07/06/2022 and I still havent done my interview.

That's ridiculous for it to take 3 months for a go ahead on training did you already have your live scan already completed before the interview?

I just got a nice surprise in the mail on Christmas as my application was returned, and I am just reading this reply lol I feel like a dumbass. You live and you learn I guess. So now I will apply online, but before I do and cause more delays. How do I know if I fall in the LA county or LA city? so I can apply to the correct department. my zip code is 91326, been trying to figure out if I can apply directly with the LASD.

You're located in the City. You must apply through LAPD.

Got the email on 12/22/23 asking for the additional documents. I?m on the old snail mail application track so I submitted my live scan, CA driver license, birth certificate and utility bill today on 12/26/23. Mainly wanted to post to help keep track of time line for others in similar circumstances. Signature below has original submission dates for application.

Got my P2T email in the last few days. About 30 days from when I had my interview.
