My wife picked up her renewal last week and mentioned that the two people waiting in the lobby to pick up their CCW were both waiting over 2 years.

08-29-2024@ 11:42am received a call from unknown number…. It was a deputy from the CCW department calling to schedule my permit pick up on 09/02/2024 7:30am.

as much as I am excited for this because of the long coming, but looks like I’ll be able to carry with the LASD permit for a couple of weeks as I am in escrow to move into Riverside county and will be starting a new process there.

just two days shy of 12 weeks. My sig has the timeline of when my docs were submitted. I couldn’t find a way to update the sig and add when I got the cal which was 8-29-24

Congratulations, it was a long time coming, you're almost home. You already have your florida, Utah and arizona permit. California is the difficult one to get.

The only person that inspected my guns was the instructor for the firearms class while writing down my serial numbers. I've changed the triggers and grips on some of mine.

That's what happened with mines during the class. I've gotten some works on mines and the instructor just enjoyed looking at them, never mentioned anything about what should not be on there. Not like I have those cool "switch" anyways.

I was able to purchase a xmacro at Bass Pro and it has the manual safety. I want to remove it and replace the grip. I wonder if they'll give me crap for that. I imagine that they're referring to items that make your gun illegal. I don't see how a trigger or adding an optic can make the gun not qualify. If it's legal to make those changes then it should be ok for your CCW weapon.

Nice. I’ve thought about the Icarus also, but maybe later down the road. I’m pretty comfortable and confident with the SI grip right now. I’m running it with the antimatter wing so I can’t wait to get the game changer radian ramjet on. I already love how my 19 performs with the ramjet.
