CA DROS Delay

With no issues all picked up on day 10
So wtf is really going on at DOJ BOF

I had previously bought a handgun at sportsmans warehouse in march. Everything went smoothly and picked up the gun on day 10. Went in recently may 12 to get a glock and on day 9 I got the delay notice.

Ouch. I did paperwork at SW on a M1014 and lower on 04/18 and got the call on 04/25 about a delay. Tomorrow will be day 30 since the delay call. No letter from DOJ or call from SW. I called SW and they said its 'undetermined' as of today

They suggested I DROS again since I've purchased from them many times over 5 years.

Very fraustating since I've never had this problem before.

[1] ... So they are obviously DICKS who refuse to complete the purchase contract they entered into when you payed for your gun.

[2] ... Nobody that does due diligence, and refuses to patronize FFL DICKS who refuse to follow the law has this problem.

Always ask before you get screwed.

DO YOU DELIVER ON UNDERTERMINED STATUS?

If the FFL answers "no". Politely, but LOUDLY, tell them "FU" then leave.

That FFL already screwed you once. If YOU DROS with the same DICK again, it's YOU, that is screwing YOU.

Then refer back to the root of the problem. Which ISN'T A JOKE, it is a stark reality.

Odd... What happened to that large sum of cash in their bank from our dros fees? Oh that's right they took it away, let the background check system fall apart, and quit manning the phones.... Hmmm this has got to be ripe for a lawsuit against "infringing" our 2A rights! I mean common they HAD the funds to run the system the RIGHT way, but instead they stole money out of it to fund a confiscation team....

This is not a NEW situation. It is simply a recurring symptom of an intentionally broken State Agency.

The FFL will call you if its delayed within the 10day period. If the ten days passed and you never get a call then you are cleared and approved to pick up the gun.

Careful, not every FFL will monitor or call you when it comes to DROS. The correct way is to call yourself and verify status before heading there especially if its a long distance.
