I believe that your theory is more closely related to a "FACT"

Yeah the FFL has no explanation for the 5 of us dealing with this delay

Pretty sure DOJ has no explanation either for us

I wonder if this is due to staffing shortages at the DOJ, like a lot of places right now that can't hire all the people they need. I don't know if that's the reason but it's a plausible explanation.

No. It's not. That is the excuse they are giving but it's a ruse.

22 years of this 'modern' DROS system, and it has been primarily automated, and there has never been this level of delay nonsense, and the frequency now in new DROS requests are no more than any regular buyer frequency uptick in the past, whether post Sandy Hook, Christmas, or some other panic-purchasing increase.

The excuse was plausible a year ago when lines were out the door at many gun stores, but has no merit now. Now it's simply biased disdain against gun owners driving manipulation of "allowance" of a civil-right - underground gun control.

The DOF BOF has no more reduction in staff/servicing than they ever did in the past, necessary to keep this system operating infringement free - regardless of the fact the whole damned DROS/waiting period is one giant smegma-cluster of an infringement in the first place.

Long overdue for CRPA to address the situation.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

Did DOJ and DMV adopt 4 day work weeks?

I watch a 19 year old pot head make statement that his high THC smokes has no negative effect on him. In fact he is finishing to get his diploma equivalent GED.

I think they are competing to see who can be more worthless overall

I’m currently in my 2nd ever DROS and wondering does the FFL inform you of a ‘DELAY’ status?? If you don’t hear from the FFL during the 10 days does that mean automatically approved?

It depends entirely on the FFL and if they are keeping an eye on it.
