if buyer has a current CCW , will A Life scan even help?

Not sure I did a live scan years ago for teaching credentials you think those would still be on file I live at the same address nothing has changed.

Bolded..not entirely true..depends on situatation.

Some data points:
I had 1 customer who got 2 delays in a row.
I have another customer that received 2 delays in a row (none ever on the 20-30 before that) and after the 2 delays in a row his next DROS was fine again.

The DOJ agent told me to look up 8016RR which is a CA0349435 record review. Maybe the CCW live scan is different as well many are listed on their website.

Dros Delay Update

June 26.....Dros
July 5........Got a call from FFL saying I've been delayed
July 7........Was supposed to be pick up day
July 25......Got letter from DOJ saying I've been delayed dated July 4
July 25......Got a call from FFL saying that I've been approved
July 26......Picked up

BTW Camarillo Gun Store in Ventura County will release on undetermined.

about 2 or 3 months ago i got a dros delay which turned into a undetermined. it was at turners salinas and since turners corporate policy is t not release on undetermined ,they refunded my money except for the dros fee. well...... i went and drosed another gun last monday and ill be damned if the doj didnt delay me again on friday. this is getting very irritating and all the doj said i can do is go get a new livescan. i dont understand this as im not being denied so why all this nonsense. instead of spending 100 plus bucks for the scan im just gonna wait to see if it goes undetermined. im afraid im going to miss out on guns i really want since i allready missed out on another consignment gun i couldnt buy as i was on delay. this stae is trying to disarm us one way or another.

been buying since 1997.
No issues at all ..


I was told once a "Delayed" happens
on a name , it will be a normal thing with any
future purchase of a firearm..

Keep trying until you have 5-6 delays in a straight row and then we will know better.
Most people just get a livescan and then re-dros with good results.

The livescan needs to be routed to the firearms bureau for the firearms bureau to see it.
I don't think livescans for school workers make it over to firearms bureau.
