I'm with you on what decided it for me but the biggest was them selling these to our government knowing they were for our troops in combat. To knowingly supply our troops with defective equipment is a disgrace to me and sealed my fate in regards to anything EOTech.

Check out that MRO. Looks pretty impressive!

This is why I returned mine as well. I refuse to support a company that has ZERO integrity and knowingly sold a defective product to our troops whose lives will depend on these things working. It really infuriates me.

When I get my check, I am either going with:

Aimpoint T-1, or T-2 (T-2 seems way overpriced)
Trij MRO although it's quite new

Haven't made a decision yet.

When I took a look in December they were discounting them.

Probably trying to get rid of old stock is my guess.

Glad to hear someone got their refund. I'm still waiting on mine. My 4 Eotech were received on Dec. 7th. Wonder how much longer will it take to receive refund.

Submitted return request on Sunday, 01.03.16 for an XPS2-0 (Manufactured April, 2011) at full retail value of $539. Received approval e-mail today for full value plus $15 shipping. Off to the post office I go...

And now I have to figure out what to replace it with as I want something more than the MBUS fore and aft. Yes, I know, there are many posts already discussing that. Time to do some research as I'd like to still use the 3X magnifier that I have (knockoff, not part of the return).

I've just received the return/refund approval email as well but I'm not seeing an approval authorization number or anything . When submitting the request I remember seeing a spot where it asks for the authorization number, is anyone getting an authorization number or just reply saying it's been approved and where to send back?

You can use the magnifier with an Aimpoint. You'll need a new mount for it if it's setup for lower 1/3 cowitness though.
