I submitted early last week. Just got my RMA this morning.

I debated whether to act or not. But considering confidence is lost (it's sort of like when your ol' reliable automobile has a big breakdown - even though you get it fixed, you never really trust it the same) and resale value (not that I was planning on selling) is probably shot on reputation alone, I'm going to send it it.

So I'm looking at:

1. Meprolight RDS
2. Meprolight M21

And now the comment that the FOV is good on the Trijicon MRO I may have to check that one out.

I'm with you on what decided it for me but the biggest was them selling these to our government knowing they were for our troops in combat. To knowingly supply our troops with defective equipment is a disgrace to me and sealed my fate in regards to anything EOTech.

Check out that MRO. Looks pretty impressive!

I bought an EoTech 511 (size N batteries) way back when. But have lost the receipt. Anyone remember what the MSRP of a new 511? I tried searching on the web, but since no one sells it anymore, I have troubling finding the MSRP / new retail price.

Returned mine yesterday. The reticle was blinking the low battery indicator. It was a fine unit, but if it won't hold up to cold weather or humidity, then its gotta go back. The only bad I have experienced first hand was poor battery life.

I took mine (USPS Priority) to the post office yesterday and voila! status says "Delivered" today! TO THE SAME POST OFFICE.

USPS tracking is less than useless.

I was paranoid so I used UPS and insured mine for the cost of a new EXPS3.0.

There's the problem I had with every one I owned. Even the 512 I sent back a couple years ago under warranty developed the same issue again (dimming at the outer areas). My 557s had dimming in bands like this : [/ / ]

I'm probably switching over to aimpoints. Though I'll miss the multiple aim dots my 557 had when using the magnifier.

What good is the magnifier without the sight? Will it work with other sights?

Refunds have been issued without receipts, I am no longer sure where I bought mine?

And I guess I just eat the cost of my fancy flip up covers.
