Yes. It's a dead issue in that regard, but it seems people are still posting advice on what the OP should do, from getting a lawyer, to hiring a hitman, or calling in the State Militia.

Post what you want about Turner's bad customer service all you want, because there is plenty anecdotes to go around for a lifetime, but to ignore the resolution reached and keep chomping at the bit for egging the OP to become a human tornado merely speaks to lack of awareness and reading comprehension.

I think some people are just dead against chains in any form. Ah well, I'm still shopping there.

the Turner's representative that took over the handling of this matter (Bill) has openly apologized to the OP in the Turner's thread here on Calguns. although not in a timely manner and in the midst of conflict between retailer and end user, Turner's has done the right thing by honoring the price that was initially given to the OP and of which he had paid in full.

Op,do you own a pick up truck? If so, make yourself a large sign in carboard stating that Turners is trying to rip you off..write that they do not honor their word and if someone wants the same treatment, just s t walk right in...write it In bright bold letters and put it in the bed of the truck for all to see..then park the truck in their parking lot over the weekend...and leave your number....you will be surprised how quickly this gets resolved....

Turners is NOT a mom & pop shop it is a chain store that investors own. The chain stores are the ones that put the Mom & Pop shop out of business.

Turner’s Outdoorsman, a 18-store chain of retail stores in Southern California specializing in firearms, hunting, and fishing gear, was purchased Monday (June 8, 2009) by four investors.

The investors include one name very familiar to Turner’s insiders, Gene Lumsden, who currently lives in Reno, Nevada. The new owners also include John and David Fuller from Australia and the Sporting Goods Fund, a sporting goods group out of the United Kingdom.

Looks like Turner's ultimately decided to do the right thing. Probably wouldn't have been the case without a little bit of arm twisting from the rest of us. OP please update once you have picked up your guns, so I can go back to checking their weekly ad for deals again.

I too am a small biz owner and in this case you are in the right. But would you be satisfied with a store credit? This gives Ts a way to save face while not eating the the entire retail value. This could be a fair compromise. JMO

A bit late to call them liars. At this point, that action would be libel.

You didn't get the joke. It's okay. I was referencing people who say that they only shop at mom & pop operations because turner's is a chain. Going on to say that they should not excuse any mistakes even for the little guys, lest they be branded hypocrites.
