I hate to see this. The employed gave the discounts, accepted payment and you dros'd the guns.

Turners is wrong to charge.

Maybe it is time for calgun nerd to call for a mini boycott of turners.

If it was my store - and I have had stores.... I honer the mistake, I suspend the employee for making a gross error, and I move on with my business.

I have been going to turner's for something like 30 years, back when their west covina store was at sunset and francisquito. I'm certainly not one of their best customers. I was irirated the first time I bought a gun there and the dros was $35. But I went back and bought a couple mosins. Other than that it has always been fishing stuff and small shooting related items. After their response in this case, I'm done. Between Baboosh and the mom and pops around me, I have no further need for Turner's.

Similar situation happen to me. Got a full refund and never been back to turner. Thank goodness I have Riflegear near me.

Well, according to this thread, They've already lost way more than that. All just to hold firm that they are still #1 scum bags. Probably aiming at achieving the level of Cheaper than Dirt's reputation.

Except when they deleted all of the posts, it also removed the notification to those who posted of any resolution that they may post. Lock the thread until resolution, but was it necessary to delete most of the thread?

I can't speak for Turners, but I think instead of having the entire thread deleted, they kept the pertinent parts of the thread and deleted the rest. Since this situation is really between the OP and Turners, I don't think Turners really thought or cared about other's notifications on the thread.

The sale is final once it is paid in full. Op has the receipt and dros that show the firearms belong to him. Turners no longer owns the firearms unless he failed the dros.

At what point is this theft that they are not releasing his property?

If Turners feel they are in the right they should release the Ops property then file a small claims against him. Not strong arm him in to paying or accepting a refund.

Dear Turners...There are a lot of previously loyal customers watching this! I personally spent about $1K there last year.. Just sayin , you need to make this right. A few hundred buck isn't worth the loss of business. The fact you waited this long, does not help our consumer confidence image with Turners.
