Yeah i agree with the rest of guys. Their Pasadena store is the nearest one to me. Done business in the past with them but after seeing how badly they have handled this situation i will not set foot in there again.

Their stance is that the sale price states $999.99 and thats the price of the combo deal. Regardless of the salespersons promise or my receipt clearly stating paid in full.

        Well, There you go.

As a business owner I would have honored your receipt. I think Turners missed a wonderful PR opportunity. Hope they learn from this to better train employees.

I still think you would win in small claims court, if you think it is worth your time and $38, go for it.

$38 bucks? That's it? I'd do it in a heart beat. It's not about the money or the guns at this point. I'd do it just to prove them wrong and to stick it to them.

That is a load of baloney from Turners. Sounds like a bait and switch since the ad clearly stated that the ISSC is FREE if you purchased the Bushmaster. Now they are attempting to back out of a done deal.

If this is how they want to handle this situation, that's fine. Thanks for updating us on the situation so that we can take our business elsewhere.

Sorry for your problem, knuclkehed. Poor customer service on their part. Sounds like you have a solid legal case, if you want to pursue it.

Just the other week, I purchased a Henry Big Boy from the Pasadena store, and have my eye on several other items. However, based on their current customer service philosophy, any of my future firearm related purchases will be from someone else. They've seen the last dollar they are getting from me.

Since I have had good dealings with Turner's in the past I am disappointed to see that no Turner's Rep has bothered posting in the other thread to refute his claim of how it went down or to explain why the OP isn't owed what his receipt clearly says he is.

Probably since they know he ISN'T in the wrong on this.

so how much longer can the op wait before having to re dros?
will this just go on in limbo forever or will someone cave in

still have to serve them too
now who do you serve? and that could cost you

when I tried to sue someone they packed up and left and never found them
Lost that money and time but it was very easy to get the process started

                        I got a good idea
any off duty police officer willing to come with the op to the store have the officer talk to the manager see if that could intimidate him into getting the guns? Or just stand there maybe thats all it takes

Just unsubscribed from their email blasts. They ask you to leave a comment why you are unsubscribing. I linked this thread as my reason. How stupid do you have to be to screw a customer over like this over a couple hundred dollars when your store is completely at fault?

I had previously stated in this thread that I have always had good service at the Pasadena Turners. In general I have, but there was one situation involving one of their managers a couple years back that caused me to start shopping at other retailers when Pasadena Turners had been my go-to shop. And it was over $5.

Turners had a rifle I wanted on sale. Somebody else had it a few dollars cheaper (I think it was about $50 less at the other store). I've spent thousands at the Pasadena location, and most of the employees know me on a first name basis. I called Turners, spoke with the manager on duty, and asked if they would match the price, as I would rather shop at Turners. He told me they would match, to print the other store's ad, and bring it in. I went in that evening after work. The manager I had spoken with by phone wasn't there, but another manager was called to make the price adjustment. First he told me he couldn't confirm that the other store had the rifle in stock, then he told me that he knew the other store charged an extra $5 if you purchased in-store (that the advertised price was online only). So he sold me the rifle at the other store's advertised price plus $5. Really chickenshiit. I know it would have cost me more than $5 extra in gas to go to the other store, but it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Next time I wanted a rifle, guess where I went? That's right, I spent the little bit extra on gas and drove to the other store, where I have since bought three more rifles, a couple lower receivers, and two handguns. And I found out they don't charge an extra $5 for purchasing in-store.

So that's how you lose customers over insignificant amounts of money. I have still shopped at Turners, but I no longer feel any loyalty to them. Now that I won't be getting their emails, I won't even be tempted to head over there. There are plenty of other places happy to get my money.

Turners owes you the cancellation fee since they are doing the canceling. They signed it
