This. Get the documents FILLED out and go back and show them the docs filled for a small claims case and that if they dont honor it RIGHT NOW, you will drive directly to the court and have them filed. They cannot just jack up the price after the sale was completed. A mistake may have been made but they have to eat it since it was theirs and not yours.

It shows 3/24/15 as the final 'layaway' date.

[WARNING: brace for incoming lecture.] Every law school contracts casebook contains a section filled with cases involving misprinted advertised prices and mismarked prices on tags. A price tag on an item in a store is not an offer sufficient to form a legally binding contract when you pick the item up and bring it to a register. Price tags and ads are instead "invitations to treat" issued by the retailer, or an expression of willingness to negotiate. While retailers may honor their mistakes in pricing or advertising for purposes of goodwill or in the name of "good business," in most circumstances they are not obligated to do so.
However, I believe that a contract was formed in the situation that you have described. There was an offer, that offer was validly accepted, and valuable consideration was paid after negotiation by the parties. From what you've described, Turners doesn't have a legal leg to stand on unless they wish to take the stance that the salesperson had no authority to actually sell you the rifles at all (in which case you would have a strong ostensible agency counter argument).
Further, while a mutual mistake is a defense to the formation of a contract, an erroneous opinion as to the value of the thing that is the subject of the agreement is instead a unilateral mistake. In other words, if you and Turners both believed that you were negotiating for the sale of a SCAR 17 and neither of you were aware that the rifle was actually a .22 clone, there would be no contract. Here, however, the mistake as to applicable discounts was a one-sided or unilateral mistake on Turners' part. Unless they can show that you knew the discounted price was incorrect and tried to take advantage of their error, which does not match the dialogue that you laid out in your original post, their employee's mistake will not prevent the formation of a legally binding contract.
With the caveat that anything can happen in a courtroom, I like your chances if you take them to small claims. Anything beyond that, however, and like most litigation the legal fees would quickly outpace what you could hope to recover (unless there is some applicable consumer protection statute out there, I don't practice in this area).

Thank you, that was what I was trying to say, but didn't elaborate enough.

I received absolutely *no* correspondence from Turners before, during, or after the DROS date informing me of any changes.

I hope this gets resolved for the OP, and he gets his stuff, before the final pick-up date/time on the firearms. . . . otherwise he will have to re-DROS

Can't the op just call the cops and have them return his property ? He has the receipts showing they are his property. If by some chance the firearms are stolen and used in a crime who is the legal owner? Turners or the OP.
Old problems are like dry poop, if you let the dry poop sit it doesn't smell but the minute you decide to stir the poop with a stick, the smell comes back. Moral of the story, Don't bring up old problems!

Basically their stance is that the advertised price was the price I was supposed to pay. They are offering a full refund or I can pay the originally advertised price and receive the ISSC MK22.

I don't understand how this is even debatable with some people. The guy PAID in full the price he was offered at the time!! The guns are his! If he took an ad in that had a certain gun for $500 and when he goes in they tell him it was an error, then I get that and he can either pay full price or walk away. In this case he was offered a price, he agreed to it and PAID IN FULL. The OP did nothing wrong and the fault is on the store. I can't stand turners. Hate their customer service and uneducated gun people. This further proves my feelings towards them. Good luck OP I hope you fight it all the way.

Police won't do jack. They'll say it's a civil matter and leave . It's out of their hands.

Was it corporate or the store that called you?... Call corporate now make make sure to tell them that you are a Calguns member and hopefully they will fix the situation.

Call rob i think hes at the rancho cucomunga store and ask him to log in to calguns because you have a problem.

ALL of my new non sse guns have been purchased via Turners. After reading this I will look for a new shop to do business with. Not cool at all.
