I wish one of these big distributors would let us build up several orders before shipping. Pay for the material, put it on will call, then when you accumulate enough orders, change status to ship and consolidate onto one packing list. I would gladly pay a $5 surcharge to be able to ship 10-12 orders all together once per month.

I've been saving orders for any kind of disposables - lube, cleaning supplies, targets, etc. - for when they have some kind of limited quantity ammo in stock. Got a couple of 100 packs of Mini Mags from Cabelas when they had a limit of one per order. But at this point there have been enough opportunities to get larger quantities it's hard to get too excited by low limit items.

natchez has 325 auto match federal. 11 cents a round after shipping. $17 for shipping is a real bummer

EDIT:whoops, got hasty and didn't read 3 posts up. and the fact that its been up for at least 2 hours shows people are HOPEFULLY getting tired of paying 11+ cents per round for 22.

Natchez is good to go if you can handle the shipping costs. Before the 1 per day limit, you could place a large order and still break even. Next best thing is stack your order with different types of items, just like you did.

Wolf Match Extra's nice. And yeah, SK/Lapua sells basically the same thing under a couple of different names after it goes through some kind of batch testing. Definitely nicer than any Winchester .22. And that's a perfectly reasonable price.

Hated to pay it but I ordered from Natchez. I just got the kids a .22 and I'm not gonna have it sitting with no ammo for them.

I placed it at about 6:30 Thursday morning. I know some others who had posted earlier than me had shown their orders were not filled or backordered. I don't know why that is and I don't claim to have any inside contacts at Cablea's. I agree that it doesn't seem fair, but you're crazy if you think I'm going to give up my order.
