This is the same price it was the last two batches they got in. As far as I can tell it hasn't been imported for years - I've had some of the old fart marksman types at the range asking where the hell I got it.Comment

I guess it's time to rehash that. SK is the same company as Lapua. They make very nice match grade ammo.
This specific ammo is the ammo that becomes Wolf Match / Wolf Match Extra. According to the people on rimfire central every 50K rounds they test fire a box and depending on the group size it becomes "extra" or the regular Wolf Match or it gets boxed up bulk style and sold in cans. If you have a gun that runs well with Wolf it'll run pretty much the same with this.
So basically it looks like bulk ammo, it's sold like bulk ammo, but it's better than most "target" ammo, maybe into low end "match" ammo. In any case it has a match grade primer and is very reliable.
Personally I like it because it's very accurate in my rifles but it's also very reliable in some finicky .22 conversions I have that usually don't run well on anything that's not Mini Mags.
Only gotcha is that they lube it before putting it into the can. The rounds are a bit greasy. I wipe my hands after loading up magazines. Doesn't seem to affect them at all though.Comment

I was curious since it's .09cpr.
I passed on finding .22 at Natchez several days ago which was .07cpr...shipped.Comment

With patience you can get cheaper ammo, even now, no question, if that's your main concern.
The appeal here is that it's really quite nice ammo and that the limit is very high. I'd like to see it $5-$10 per can cheaper but given the current situation I think it's reasonable.Comment

Also, if people don't know Graf's - they're mostly a reloader company (powder, bullets, primers) and they also support the muzzleloader community (round ball, black powder, percussion caps). Since they have flat rate shipping I used to buy lead balls there before I started casting. Never any problems although they do get backed up sometimes, especially on powder orders.Comment

This is the same ammo that could become SK Jagd Standard Plus (same as wolf match Target) or SK Jagd Rifle Match (same as wolf match extra). SK Standard Plus is a long time favorite for bullseye and issf pistol/rifle for a practice round (or match round depending on budget).I guess it's time to rehash that. SK is the same company as Lapua. They make very nice match grade ammo.

.........h.
Unless you plan on shooting competition where a half inch may make or break you, this de-classified bulk ammo is great...Comment

Tough choice between the PSA Mini-Mags and the SK cans, but I will try the SK and see if my P22 likes it. With all the different ammo I have bought lately, I should have a few types that work in the P22 - I would HOPE. Geesh, nothing like waiting till the last minute. The SK just went OOS. I ordered the LAST TWO cans (confirmed by Sheila in Customer Service). Graf's is SUPER FAST to respond to email, BTW. Ships Monday.
Today I received another Golden Bullet 525 pack and the lone CCI Mini-Mag 100 (and Herter's .223 & .357 Mag, Fiocchi 9mm) from Cabela's.
From Midway: M22 1k pack, and a 325 pack of Automatch.
Time to shoot some because my cans and shelves are full - even the misc. overflow range cans and top of the safe.Last edited by crufflers; 07-26-2013, 2:25 PM.Comment

Not ammo, but GSG 1911-22 magazines in stock at AIMSurplus. $30
I recall these were HOT items for a while, selling for $60+ each on eBay and Gunbroker.Last edited by thegreasepit; 07-26-2013, 3:20 PM.Comment
