[QUOTE=TetVet;12145326]Layered cardboard!! RU kidding? Maybe time to upgrade http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0013R4DBQ/...410_item_image .. reviews have lots of mods

I think you're right. That looks like a nice trap for pellets.

My "backstop" was just a temporary way for me to test out a Steel Storm and a few other CO2 guns indoors and adjusting sights for eliminating pigeons. It served well for a few thousand test rounds - but starts to make a mess. A springer, piston, or colibris would have probably make it though and into my wall.

I'll order that trap if I decide to shoot more indoors.

              Yup. Thunderbolts are Thunderbolts.

I bought a few when there was absolutely nothing else and they were a limit 5 boxes. I probably have a brick and a half - I'll save them for a revolver or bolt gun. Bottom of the barrel for me along with Win 333 and 555 unless testing proves otherwise.

No reason to buy them now, but I am sure there are some people who have guns that run them.

I felt the same about Golden Bullets till they ran my pickiest two guns perfectly a few range sessions. Otherwise I wouldn't have buckets and buckets and buckets and STACKS of it today. You have to know what you want to buy that works for you.

Thanks to hoarders, speculators, and all my buddies here in "Ammo Finds".

The last thing we need here are people doing the old PUMP AND DUMP... and the whiners that got fleeced yelling about it.

I don't mind ammo buying advice, I just hate it when I feel like anyone trying to scare people into buying at any cost is also selling it.

I think most people here are already grabbing all they can as cheap as they can - at least until the money runs out or the storage space runs out.

Yep Thunderbolts are Thunderbolts. They were one of the first things I bought when I had almost no 22lr left.

I have a couple co-workers than run them fine in their rifles, a Ruger mark II & III, and amazingly in a Sig Mosquito (which I've been trying to convince him to sell to me). Sometimes they don't feed well in my 10-22 takedown. I have 4+ bricks (2.5 bulk packs and 2 bricks in the little 50round packs). The little 50 packs run a little better than the loose bulk. If I wanted to sell them or barter them for something they are easy to get rid of. But for the cheap price, I don't have a problem keeping them or buying more at a good deal. They will serve their purpose anyways and when my little boy's ready to practice clearing jams/ feed problems.

Golden Bullets run great through my CZ-452. I very rarely have a FTF, and I find that they are accurate to at least 50 yards. I have not found them to be too much dirtier than other .22 rounds I shoot, and since I am a bit anal about cleaning my guns, it has not been a problem yet.

Yes sir .22 lr ammo is on top of my to buy list with my gun money, and I will continue buying all I can until Jul 1 2015 when online mail order sales end in CA.

My goal is to get at least two bricks or 1000 rounds a week(or more), if I do this I will have close to 100,000 rounds of .22 lr by Jul 1 2015.

I shoot about 500 rounds of .22 a month at that rate I will not have to buy more ammo for a long time.

Did they charge you for the backordered items? Meaning an actual charge showing up on your monthly statement instead of a temporary authorization hold.
