I think it's pretty clear that posts like is this a good retailer, are they screwing up the orders, who ships fast/correctly/well, is that good ammo or not are actually on topic. If a "find" results in a lot of order issues I want to know about it. A "find" isn't useful if you don't have enough information to act on it, and a lot of us have been buying .22 from retailers or of brands that we wouldn't have tried last year.

There actually hasn't been that much totally off topic content and it's mostly been on the weekends when there aren't any "finds" anyway. Probably the biggest component of off topic content are people posting centerfire finds to the wrong thread...

People do come in here and get frustrated because they can't get a Bucket of .045 per round Golden Bullets after hanging out for a few days... and they buy a few $65+shipping choot 'ems and call it good.

I guess it isn't my place to try encourage patience and show how this ammo hunting can be fun and addictive... but I feel bad thinking about people helping those scumbag flippers. PSA has some good deals, and they aren't the worst... but those choot 'ems make me want to buy my AR-15 parts somewhere else.

I realize that the flip side to that is... PSA set the price so high that they always seem to have some in stock.

And sure, it sucks that limits are put in place.

But put yourself in their shoes:

1. Do you want to operate in extreme economic swings?

2. Or do you want some sense of "stability" or "normal" or steadiness in your inventory flow, cash flow, and recurring expenses and customer turn-around?

It's not just with ammo, it's with other items too such as AR-15s and AR-15 lowers...
