That was my thinking as well. And even for the people who plan on getting licenses there's a good chance the whole thing will be a mess. Look at the issues they're having DROSing people now - people who bought last year are still delayed, even if they had bought a firearm successfully in the past. I predict in the future we'll get thread after thread from people who are on some kind of DELAY status with their ammo permit and can't buy any more until it's resolved.

It's a shame he can't just be happy with the existing finds, he has demands and complaints too. The guy's on my $h!tlist. Do yourselves a favor and do the same.

We'll see. My feeling is that so far buying ammunition has been an excellent inflation hedge and I don't see that changing any time soon. Once we can order by the case (which you can do now if you're set up with the CMP - it's something like 5.8 cents/round delivered) if you shoot .22 and can possibly afford it you would be crazy not to stick a couple of cases in the back of the closet. Sure beats dealing with CA ammo licenses or driving to Reno or whatever it is people are planning on doing.

IMHO a better hedge against inflation would be shares in firearm companies. You can buy a share of ruger for about $50. Do this enough times and the diveidends on the stock will pay for your ammo.

I shoot my pellet guns in the house. I have some Super Colibri too, but I think it might be a little hot for my layered cardboard backstop. Plus I need a revolver or bolt gun to use them up I think.
