I really would love to see a Range report Spikes Versus Colt M-4. This would be the ultimate for me.

I will definately consider the Sig.. I have 3 boys so a Colt, GSG, Sig, and a wasr22 would be ideal and cheap to shoot.

Thanks, I can't wait. I love the fact that it has the pony on the side, whether it's a "real" Colt or not and since for the most part, the pony is banned here in Cali.

I hear good things about the Sig also, cheaper price point and optics included, but come on, just look at the Colt!

Picking up mine up tomorrow. I have to say I am more excited than I have been for a long time on the eve of picking up a new firearm!

I work 5 minutes from an indoor range that I am a member of. This is going to be so so so so cool!!!

At first when I heard of the S&W and Colt M4s I was excited but while I have no doubt of the sturdiness of the S&W polymer I dont trust the cheap metal of the Colt so I passed on both and got a complete Spikes gun. It may be a little more than the Colt or the S&W (like double) but I know I will have it for years to come and I cant say that about the other 2.

That's a great price. I paid $620 for mine. I hate overpaying for stuff, but when you're one of the early birds, sometimes you have to pay to get the first worm-- or rifle.

I too would like to see an accuracy range report regarding Colt vs a dedicated 22lr upper from Spike, CMMG or Tactical Solutions.

Since I bought mine last week at Turners for full price, I called them and they said they would credit me the $60 difference! I know some around here don't like Turners, but they have always been cool to me!

Congrats on purchasing the Colt M4 .22lr. I've already shot about 500 rounds of ammo through my M4 Tactical Ops. It's a fun plinking rifle. Enjoy and be safe.
