There is the other new, and much better forum over at CAguns; you might want to start something similar over there.

      Respectfully, no.

Not giving up on calguns just yet.

We are the Mojave Lever Crew. We are a part of calguns for better or for worse. For now.

There is much discussion about what has happened here, and the shenanigans of the Janitor which has led to the downfall.
Yes, I have been going there just about every day.

site has been next to useless so haven't tried posting anything for months until now, let's see how it goes

haven't really photo doc'd all of them yet but here's a teaser

              71 S&W model 15 Combat Masterpiece
              71 Colt Python
              71 Colt Trooper
              71 Browning 10/71 .380
              71 Browning Superposed Lightning grade I 12ga
              71 Winchester 101 Pigeon Grade 12ga

This is our first successful access to calguns in a couple of weeks after near-daily attempts.

                  In other news...

S&W has made a lever action they call the Model 1854. Looks like a Henry-Marlin. Would have to handle and shoot one to give a real opinion.

Welcome to another American Rifleman Gun Of The Week video, and this time we have a modernized American lever-action to take to the range. Meet the Smith & Wesson Model 1854.

Carol Watson's Orange County Auctions has a Win 9422M that is pretty reasonable right now. They are right iff the 91 Freeway in Fullerton/Anaheim. If you are local, you can do the DROS right there when you pay for it. I have purchased a few guns through them - nice people. Easy communications.

                          It's already over $1100.
                          Too rich for my blood.

Carol Watson's has been very easy to deal with on C&R items though.
I have my C&R and 03 so I can dros and pickup the same day.

                            What a rip-off.

hardly a ripoff, fair number of 9422M selling north of $1k

and personally, a clean vintage 4x Redfield adds to it

                              $1291.00 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1078068710

                              $1101.01 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1077851045

                              $1025.00 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1077981558

couple boxed if that adds anything for you

                              $1232.00 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1076166054

                              $1248.00 https://www.gunbroker.com/item/1079585943

of course some under a $1k but just comparing similar high condition
I started out with nothing - and I still have most of it

How is it a rip-off, when someone decides they want something and they place a bid on it?
Was the bidder forced into it?

                                Please explain.
