Yes sir George's Creek sandtrap, just south of Manzanar. The lil cactus was on 14 south of Redrock.

Doesn't the mag ban in Cal apply only to "detachable" magazines? I think it might be a case of being overly protective. Now when Oregon did their's they did include tubular mags and the law was also going to prohibit those already in possession. At least thats how one customer of mine explained it to me. He had an extensive lever collection including many original 92s. He was ready to sell his multi hundred thousand acre ranch and move to Nebraska!

I finally got to shoot the well-used 1950 Marlin 336 .30-30 after I installed a Lyman aperture sight and the Rossi M92 .44 Mag that I put a pistol scope on in a Scout rifle configuration at the Compton club after a work party. The Marlin has some rough spots in the bore, per a bore scope, but it shot fairly well at 50 yards after getting it sighted in with some 130 gr Hornady handloads. The Rossi also shot well - this was my first experience with a forward mounted scope. The loads were 200 gr flat point coated bulles from Missouri Bullets loaded to approximare .44-40 velocity in magnum brass.

I am taking the easier route than Apples (Chris) in that my wife and I are going to buy a used trailer and I will have that to use if we should get together for a multi-day shoot sometime in the future. It may also serve to house another member or two. First, I have to wire my truck for the brake controller.....

Not that this has anything to do with lever guns, but if there's an MLC member out there that would like these, send me a PM with your address and they are yours....

^ ^ ^ Done, my good man. You are Tim Padilla on the MLC Membership Roll.

Perhaps one day a site Admin might be able to correct the noncapitalization of your surname as it appears in your posts/avatar. Until then, though, here's to your finding more .25-20! and shooting straight w/ your great lever actions.

Those are in good shape. If you don't mind, I'll take em. My Uncle Henry Sheath from 1983 is little wore out. I just ordered one from Buck today for my 112. I'll see if I can cancel it. I think you have my address.

It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Yeah, he is. Mark, I can't count the number of trout and upland birds I've cleaned with my 112.

Hey brother, I've got a half dozen 110s but only one 112. The 112 is the perfect folder. (I'm a knife collector) I'm also a fan of the drop point blade so I had to wait for it to be made again. The clip point is nice but there's so much more meat on the Bone with the drop point . I'd love to get a 119 or 102 with a drop point.

Bucks switching things up theses days. I'm a huge fan .....

Here's my Buck 110 with silver bolsters and drop point blade. Also my 102 Woodsman with D2 steel and Cocobolo handle. I've pretty much lost it. Just spending money on knives and holding them away. The camera makes em look pretty bad..
