Also, has anybody noticed the added requirements in the 'additional info' packet? One of the requirements is to have a signed letter from your employer stating that you either can or can not carry at work. WTF???

I saw that too. I'm hoping that section is only if your good cause is for business purposes.

Read section 3 line C on page 2. The work related questions are only if the good cause statement is business related and you are not the business owner.

If your good cause is "self defense" then its not business related and that section does not apply.

Well, I just called Melanie and the LT. told her to stop giving out applications for the time being. She can't email them and you can't pick them up in person. I requested it to be emailed on Friday and she said she got a bounce back (she must have written my email down incorrectly I am assuming). Does anyone have a copy of the application that they can send me?

What? I called yesterday and my appt is April 9th. How'd you get in so quick?

I originally had an appt. in May. She called my cell from a restricted number. I usually don't answer those but did. I am glad I did too. She said there would be another deputy doing interviews now on top of the current one. I also assume someone canceled.
