            Passed my CCW range qualification

Hello everyone so I had my class yesterday and it was pretty fun i was extremely nervous but after meeting the officers and the staff i have to say they are great people. If anyone has any questions let me know ill be happy to help. The officers all believe in citizens having the right to CCW they hate california gun laws as much as us lol.

You are practicing at the distance of the requirements. I would recommend that you push it out to 21 feet, 7 yards instead of 5 yards.

                Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Thank will do I've been practicing on two 66% IPSC targets which are 12x20 instead of the b27 which I believe is 24x48 figured that should help . I do most of my practice at the 5 yard mark done a few hundred rounds at 7 but and 10 but ill try to focus on that distance more

That is the right distance. They want your shots to be between the neck and the bottom of the stomach. If you fail the first couple of times they give you multiple tries. I was able to do this in a wheelchair since im disabled so if i can do it you can also. Dont be nervous all these cops really support us and our decision to carry.

                        Are you shots timed?

                          They are not timed.

Though, I probably wouldn't take a minute between shots. I think the last time I qualified I took about two to three seconds between shots. Doesn't sound like a lot, but it really is.

Good to know I've been practicing trying to shoot as fast and as accurate as I can really need to buy a shot timer but if I had to guess definitely under 10 seconds

Get yourself a dry fire system. I use the Pink Rhino laser but there are other more sophisticated ones. I practice one shot draws from concealment. Proud to say I can hit center from 10 yards in under a second. Fastest draw to fire is 0.7 but I average 0.9 after a hundred or so runs.

I have a friend who got a denied letter for his ccw. What do you say to appeal the ccw?
