Anyone else been delayed/expired?
took my renewal course back in march.
Current Permit was set to expire on June 1st . Got a call second week of May saying I need to provide updated paperwork from the county* was able to update it and upload it a few days before June . Haven't heard anything except they will get to it when the get to it


*My grant deed/property tax didn't have JR on it so they couldnt accept it

I interviewed eight weeks ago and haven't heard anything yet. None of my references or neighbors have been contacted yet.

Has anyone done the safety class/ range qualification for initial applicants recently? Are they allowing you to add or modify your choice of firearms on the day of?

I've seen both yes and no answers and was hoping someone had current info.

My renewal class was on 04/17/24. The status of my renewal is "still pending" according to the website. I emailed on 06/13/24 asking if there was any update, but was told that they were backlogged. My permit expired 06/15/24.

Sounds like a lot of us are in the same boat! I renewed 4/16/24 and I haven't heard anything from on high.

Interesting. I did my renewal class on 4/24, and got that email on 5/15. Yet still no card has come in the mail.

I took my renewal class on April 12. On May 18 got an email saying approved and should recieve my renewal within 1 to 2 weeks. If haven't received it by 3 weeks email sbsd. I emailed them after 3 weeks of not receiving it yet and they told me there backed up and weren't mailing them out yet.

My permit expires in September, so I thought I would check this forum out to see what the current process was like. I understnad the training class hsa been lengthened. It sounds like no one is getting their renewal issued in a timely manner.....

Does the County still contact you or do I need to be proactive and file myself early?
