Depends on what kind of first responder. Do these people pose a threat outside of work due to the nature of interactions that may deem negative in their perspective? Enough that they may have a chance of retaliating if they see you during a normal day?

When was you class? Were they able to handle the weapon safely? Or were they just not proficient with their weapons.

Just finished the shooting portion of the class.

For anyone who's worried about accuracy, don't! You'll be 5 yards from the target (15 ft). They don't care about how bad your grouping is. They just want 10 rounds ON the silhouette. I stood next to an older gentleman and his grouping was sporadic. They kept having him shoot until he qualified. I think they are a 100% no fail place, unless you are negligent and handling the gun(s) unsafely.

In the classroom they said you need to hit it 8/10.

Not sure why you quoted me. I was replying to a renewal question.

Just confirming about renewal now. We probably will not hear anything until about 60 days before expiration? But we can do the range before that?

You should get an email from them about 90 days prior to your permit expires. Follow their instructions. If you're not sure if they have your email address drop Sarah an email and just let her know that you just wanted to make sure she has your email address. She may or may not respond. Don't worry, she will now have your email address.

                  Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Permit has been received. I thought it was going to take longer. In the class I remember them saying they were almost or did get caught up so the wait times will start going down.

Maybe share that concern with the CCW staff at your interview. Or send a email to Sarah.

If you have a good HR department then really nobody should know about your verification letter other than them and the supervisor they ask to fill out the form. Nobody cared at my work, and they got it done super fast
