      Hey guys,

I looked through the county website and couldn’t find an answer to my question. I can email them but I thought if you all knew the answer then I wouldn’t have to bother them.

I am PROBABLY moving out of state in March. My ccw expires in April. We are to surrender our permit when we move out of the county. So my two-part question is: since it’s a matter of about 20 days, would it be acceptable to simply allow my permit to expire or should I return it? If I should return it, is by mail acceptable or do I have to submit it in person?

      Thanks

There was another member in the same predicament. They told him to send it in when it expired.

Though you still have to let them know that you're moving.

        Yes you can have 2 C&R 03 FFL's; 1 in California and 1 in a different state.

Hey Guys. I have my Range Day tomorrow. When I got the call I was on my motorcycle and had to pull off the freeway. SO needless to say I could not write anything down. I think he said it starts at 8am but get there early. Is this correct?
Any recommendations on what time to get there?
              thanks

".So be there before 8 AM is better.

                      1-11-20 Range date

Anyone have an idea how long the “serial number verification and mailing of permit” is?

Now just waiting for permit to arrive via mail. Overall, I have to say the process is extremely quick for as many applicants they have to work with. Great group of Deputies/Detectives from the SBSD working this operation.

Unless it's changed, for your initial permit, they call you and tell you when you can come in to pick up your permit.
^Tpyically within 10 days of your range date.

They then have you confirm everything printed on the permit is correct.
^Double check the address and your handgun(s) info.

When you renew, they mail the permit to you.

For anyone currently waiting for “the call”, make sure you answer it when it comes. If not, you’re in for a good month or so wait for them to get back to you.
