I always call the first week of January for a March renewal class. Never a problem getting a HQ class.
Surprise!!!!!! Booked solid so I have to go to Rancho.
Over 5,000 renewals this year. Girls have a line out the door right now.

I had a feeling that they were going to be busy this year. I'm part of post SB shooting permit holders. And you know how busy they got after that.

I called the day after I got the renewal letter to make sure I got the class I wanted. And I'm turning in my paperwork in two weeks to give them as close to 90 days to do what they need to do.

My permit expires in July. I am dropping my paperwork off in April and have my class scheduled for May. Still expecting a notice of a range re-qualification being needed before the class. Fingers crossed I don't but..........

I just qualified in Devore Wednesday to add a gun to my permit. It was stated very clearly by the deputies that we do not need to re-qualify for any gun currently on the permit.

I just wanted to wait for the law to go into affect and see if the story changes, since Wednesday was January 2nd and the new law is in play, that is good to hear.

Quick question. I did my renewal paperwork and went to the class. My license expires 1/15/19. Do they mail out the new license at the last second?

Depends but Yes for me, I received my renewal the day it expired
