Might have changed just a bit. In the class, they had us fill out an envelope addressed to ourselves so they can mail it out. I recall they specifically stated to make sure it’s correct or else we will never see our permit. Hopefully that 10 day rule applies.

Yes, self addressed stamped envelope.

But on the range day,they gave us the envelop then have us write down our address on it said they will mail to us.They didn't say will call us to pick it by in person.

When I was undergoing my initial application process, there was no self addressed envelope during the range day. They just said, you will receive a call to schedule when to pick up the permit in person.

Just fyi, on the day you show up for your range day, please be sure the U.S. Postal money order is already made out to SBSD. A lot of candidates did not do this and it caused a bottle neck at the check in table.

Can anyone tell me what to expect in the shoot portion of the Range Day???

I simply want to make sure I am prepared...

Oh, and if it matters this will be for my initial permit... Thank you...

Five shots, reload, five shots, with each gun. Good trigger finger discipline and keep the gun downrange. If you've shot the gun a least once before it shouldn't be an issue.

Just like being with my wife, do what your told.

I was about to ask the same. Ok, I had range day the 11th as well. I checked and nothing in today’s mail so I’ll be checking every day going forward. Now I’ll be anxiously waiting though haha.
