I'm not, now. Every renewal I learn that the process has changed or new rules have been added... But since my date is still 5 months out I hadn't checked up yet, and with the talk of people now getting their letters for the next year, I was wondering why I didn't get mine. No biggie.

Does your new renewal letter indicate you MUST provide your certified marriage license?

Yeah it does. I haven't seen that before.

In the past they were required for new Apps. This is the first time for renewals.

Got my renewal yesterday, scheduled class for February today. I'm not clear on whether to bring my renewal app down before class, or bring it to the class, the letter wasn't too clear IMO. Any advice?

Turn it in before. They will not process applications at the class.

Ok, another question, I'm gonna ask the sheriff's, but maybe someone has had this experience. When I initially qualified, I did three guns. One was given to me by my father, I had submitted a family transfer form to have it registered. When they called me to pickup my permit I had to drop the pistol since it hadn't been enter into the AFS yet. About 2 months later I received the paperwork from DOJ showing it had been registered. I still have the range card for that gun from 2 years ago, can it be added to my permit without re-qualifying?

You got your letter with renewal classes and basic info, correct?
Have you gone to the SBCSD CCW site and read the renewal instructions?

Only the CCW dept can answer that one would be my guess.
