    What he said.

They only want info from 10 years ago.

As 38 said do some research. Google is your friend.
You can also request an employment history from Social Security.
It's not free, but it will give more specific details on dates and employers.
You can get a pretty generic report for free, but it's really not detailed enough for this.

For employers that have moved or no longer exist, I provided address/contact information as of when I worked there, with a note that they are no longer in business or have relocated and provided last known information.

I think 3-6 months is the safe answer they give.
Has your employment info been returned?
Most delays are the employment forms.

              No, just current.

The only reason I can see that they would contact past employers might be if they didn't get a "warm fuzzy" from the current employer, or perhaps if current employment were only a few months.
I would imagine that would come in the form of a phone call. Current employer just gets the form letter.

Some of those roads are not passable in the rain.
Was there any signage about a detour? A number to call?

That fire road through Rosena Ranch is normally locked. The main road in is a nightmare even when dry!!
Were you able to get to class?

Turned in my paperwork and $$$ for renewal yesterday. Easy as pie.
Guy next to me sounded like he was on his second attempt and was still missing paperwork or info.
Have your paperwork in order. Make life easier on everyone.

                        Class is April 10th.

Was going to say... I'm not sure one would WANT to qualify when the roads are wet

I was nervous running my Corolla back there.
Coupled with the fact that I was not feeling well.

Can anybody confirm San Bernardino's views on modified or off roster guns? Just things like changing out a CA S&W shield LCI indicator to flush mount, new trigger, or a legally acquired off-roster gun? Thanks.

Off roster is not a problem. The gun must be registered to you, and the caliber and configuration must match AFS, so if you bought it under SSEv1.0 and it is still in the system as a .25acp single shot, you will need to have that corrected. Easiest way is to run it through a Pawn-and-Return. The return DROS will update the AFS entry.

Modifications in general are not a problem. Night sights and carry/service/duty level trigger work and spring replacements are encouraged. Competition-level modifications are questionable, and a trigger pull under 3lbs is possibly going to fail to pass inspection.

Exact words from my instructor (the Captain who wrote the training material):
"Please do not disable any factory safeties"
"I recommend that any work be done by a qualified gunsmith, not Bubba with a Dremel"

My shield passed inspection with the Apex low-profile LCI.
