There have been some initial app classes that were 100 students so they split them up. Half did the range then classroom.

The normal size classes are ~80 people. The classes that were split were ~160 people. [emoji33]

picked up my permit yesterday!!! timeline:
applied 1/21/2016
interview 10/11/2016
range 6/17/17
permit available 7/19/17
Cant thank you guys enough for all your help i really appreciate it even from those who were aggravated with my questions [emoji6][emoji106].....
P.S. as of june 17th all range and class for new applicants is at devore on institution.....

The way some where talking here, it was as if they where going to one location for the class, then traveling to another location for the shooting qualification. That is what had me cornfused. Yes, you do need to go to the 3rd street address for the interview (new applicant), the classroom and shooting (held on different day) is currently only at the Institution Road address. You may chose to drive from the lower parking lot after the classroom to the upper lot near the range, it's a big place, or visa versa if you shoot in the morning. And yes, thanks to all for the valuable information given on this thread. It was a great help and made the process bearable.

Hey guys i am having a lil trouble filling out the appication.

I got a misdmeanor on 2011 for "speed contest" but it got lowered to exhibition of speed? Dont recall but it was lowered.

So my question;

Have you ever been convicted of any criminal offense (civilian or military) in the U.S. or any other country? If yes, please explain including the date, agency, charges and disposition.

So what exatcly i put to that question?

And just to make matter worse, got a damn speeding ticket the other day too! What are my odds now of getting ccw!

Sorry can't suggest what you need to enter for the information but I will add you need to slow down!!
If you show a pattern of ignoring the law it may very well cause a issue with the process.

Be honest and put as much info as you can accurately. I used approximately for some of it since it was 35 plus years. Other folks have pulled a ZDMV print out.

As for the speeding tickets, a couple shouldn't hurt too much if that is your only issue. But be sure to fully disclose.

You should be able to go to traffic school for the ticket. That should help some I would think.

I had a ticket for engaging in a speed contest when I was 19. My attorney had them add the charge of unsafe start to my ticket. I went to traffic school on the unsafe start and they dismissed the speed contest charge.

I didn't list it on my application do to the age. You should list it on your application noting that it was reduced to the infraction charge.

Yeah just be honest and list EVERYTHING, i listed a 106mph speeding ticket i got about 10 years ago when i was about 17 didnt seem to affect me much, we just went through what came of it, which was a 15 day suspension of my license. But again you must must be honest if they find something you purposefully omitted that will more than likely negatively affect your approval.

Yup, I should have also mentioned that I had a run in with the law when I was 16. I listed it on my application and the outcome.

What if you do not know your neighbors or if they are anti-gun/anti-CCW? We moved to Apple Valley a year ago, and only know one set of neighbors. We get along fine with them - chat over the fence, they feed our tortoise sometimes, etc. The others I do not know at all. How much weight is given to the neighbor interview?
