Did you make a copy of the OpLaw form and check you used to pay the fee?

You could take that with you to the range as proof of ownership.

Last year someone was concerned over a recently-registered gun (IIRC, it was IFT) and it was not allowed on the permit (he was allowed to qualify with it, the instructor thought it would clear).

I purchased my G36 the first week of December and it was on my permit the 2nd week of January, so a regular purchase DROS gets into the system quickly.

What is AFS?

It's the firearms registry maintained by the DOJ that LE uses to run your serial number to confirm the registered owner.

The oag link above will return your registered guns, but it's not immediate.

I suppose, if you know any cops and have a good relationship, he could run your SN and confirm whether it is active.

I was gonna post today that I have a friend that interviewed on 1/6/17 and got the call today as well. So looks like Sarah was correct about the one month background deal.

I saw that someone just stopped by and asked if it was ready. It was. If you're close enough maybe you should try that route.

ACfixer I got called on Wednesday picked up on friday and 2 other from the class were there picking up as well
