Cause I don't see the "order tracker" part at the end that folks (and the website) mention to upload my training / qualification cert.

Then at the payment page I get this message,
Description: You have applied to receive 1 CCW License Modification Standard. This service requires a background check and information verification. Any falsification of information or incorrect information will result in a deny of permit.

"This service requires a background check" - um, wut?

Did not submit payment until I (or they) can figure out the right way to do this.

      Thanks.

There is currently no anticipated start date set. We are waiting for DOJ to advise us how they will process the information for the new card like permits which include the additional weapons. So until we are advised by them, we can not issue a permit with more than 3.

          So...not thrilled, but okay.

Does the initial application ask about your employer/occupation? I'm currently working but I'm a seasonal worker and will be laid off for a month or two starting next month. Just don't like the idea of putting "unemployed" if it does ask. Thanks

Enter your occupational title and indicate it's (seasonal).

                  and there you have it....

DOJ being obstructionist - shocker. NOT

We do not even know if DOJ will be creating a card that allow 5 handguns. You may want to contact DOJ about this.

There is already another county that has 5 if I am not mistaken.

The statute says DOJ will create a card, but also says DOJ will accept local card development. PC 26175(3)(B)
                      (B) The Attorney General shall approve the use of licenses issued by local agencies....
It is becoming apparent that SSD is not able to roll out the entire changeover as quickly as we had anticipated. Electronic appointments and higher fees (for processing) but still 3 guns and still laminated rice paper. (Sigh).

When did you submit your info and what was your original expiration date? I submitted mine online with credit card and all documents on 12/22/16 for an expiration of 1/17/17, but have heard nothing yet. Thanks for any info you can give me.

                          New Application

I went online and submitted an application for a new CCW. As many of you know you must first fill out an electronic form, pay your fees and schedule your first appointment. As of today my first interview is May 3, 2017. The system allows you to print out your completed application packet. Upon doing so I noticed some irregularities between what I "remember" typing in and what actually printed out. Such as some fields being left blank where I filled them out and questions showing up on the printout that didn't show up on screen when I was filling out? I also noticed that I could not go back after the fact and try to make corrections. Should I just wait for interview and let the deputy know of those discrepancies? I don't want them to have any doubt about me not being 100% honest on application. Thanks.

ElDo allows you to fill up the back of the rice paper with pistols on top of the 3 listed on the front. Theirs is not laminated and IIR has a photo attached to it.

Email SSD and ask them what to do.

You're not alone. I submitted mine on 12/28 and I am still waiting as well. Mine expired on 11/18 so I have lost nearly 3 months off my 2 year permit so far.
