Pickup appointment was for 9:00am i was in and out by 8:40am permit in hand.

had my issuing appointment today at 2:10. got there 15 minutes early and was out by 2pm. woo hoo!

I could have had my permit sooner but the cold and rainy weather prevented range time qualification

I met a guy yesterday who is my friend's brother in law, he told me that he got his live scan result in 14 days from the day he submitted.

Got my permit today, roughly 3 months from when I made my first appointment until today. Hats off to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department for their professionalism and help in making it happen. They have so many permits to process with a light staff. Good folks doing the best they can.

The numbers for LiveScan returns are dropping substantially. Could someone at DOJ have screwed up and added staff or streamlined the system?

I got my approval for my permit yesterday! Will be going in today to get livescan done.

Timeline so far:

Interview 2/24/16
Approval 3/28/16
Livescan 3/29/16

I can't believe nobody picked the super low hanging fruit today (April Fools Day) and made an announcement that modification appointments are now open and that they have their appointment scheduled for 4/4/16.


I'm kinda disappointed right now.
