Was this your first CCW or an appeal? I am gathering information for an appeal. I don't believe i have anything that would cause me not to have the right to exercise my right.

No form. From the site: http://www.sacsheriff.com/Pages/Orga.../SIIB/CCW.aspx
If you need to modify any information on your CCW Permit:

If you are moving, you have 10 days after you move to modify your CCW Permit with your new address. To modify your permit or update your address, you will need to schedule a "Concealed Weapons Permit Modification" appointment via our online appointment system. [Online Appointment System]. A $10.00 modification fee in the form of a money order or cashier’s check made payable to “County of Sacramento” is required for all modifications as well as two (2) current pieces of proof of current residency (ie: utility bill, home owners insurance etc). You will be required to surrender your current CCW permit before receiving your newly modified CCW permit.
            That seems clear...No form.

Don't spend too much time gathering...you have to file the appeal within 30 days of denial.

Yes they do if they have your name and address on them and they are current bills.

Cigars and cigarettes are legal to smoke while carrying. Just no illegal narcotics recognized by the FEDs. This includes medical MJ

I had my first day of the 16 hour course today at The Gun Range. I had a blast. I can't wait until qualifications tomorrow. Now I'm off to clean my pistols.

That's awesome. Small world. I was in the second group. That was my first training class. I liked it so much I'm considering taking his other classes. Just waiting for my new Alien Gear holsters to come in. Any recommendations on where to purchase magazine holsters? I've read I can use knife holsters. I have a Bersa Thunder 380 and Ruger SR9c.

I finished my 16 hour qualification class today. I had such a great time. I'm looking forward to taking some more classes there. The class was very thorough. Turns out the instructor and I know a few of the same people.

I ordered an aliengear cloak tuck 3.0 last night. I'm looking forward to trying it out. I already have a nice tan leather Galco Miami Classic shoulder holster for winter wear.

I have an Aliengear Cloak Tuck 3.0 for both my Shield 40 and CZ P-01, Love those Holsters, very comfortable.

Got the two for one deal, $60.00ish total for both!!

                            Seen on a LGS Wall.
Without the Second, there would be No First!!

Hey guys. I'm looking for an additional carry gun to round out my 3 guns listed on my LTC. I was going back and forth with the M&P Shield or the Springfield XDS. Looking at 9mm at 4 inch. I was wondering what your guys impressions are. I was originally leaning toward the Shield but after watching a handful of videos and reading a bunch of reviews I'm now leaning toward the XDS. I went to the LGS to put my hands on each. Both feel fine in my hand. After checking them out the LGS also told me about a "gear up and go" deal with the XDS that includes two additional mags, mag holster and double pistol range bag (claimed to be a $135.00 value).

I'm trying to not let the free stuff push me over the edge. Does anyone here have experience with both? Impressions?
