    From the
    13. I moved and submitted my Modification application online but you have not yet processed my renewal application. Can I still carry my CCW as long as I have not moved out-of-county?
As long as you have submitted your online Modification application, submitted proof of your new residency online, and have changed your HOME address (and NOT your vehicle registration) with the California DMV, then you have complied with our requirements and you can continue to carry your CCW until we are able to process your application. If you have moved out of Sacramento County, then you must send us an email (ccw@sacsheriff.com) to let us know your new address. Your CCW permit will remain valid for 90 days and you will have to apply in your new County of residence for a CCW permit

I guess my question is whether they will issue one with my updated address, or if my current one is good. With a drivers license, they don't issue you a new one if you move, your old address is on the drivers license, even though you change your address with the DMV. Is the CCW like this? If so, I guess that makes sense.

        Removing firearm from permit

So I'm planning on selling a firearm from my permit. I know I have to notify the IA but would I have to wait for renewal to add another replacement firearm?

          Background Check

Hello! Does anyone know the general timeframe for the "Firearms" portion of the background check to be complete for Sacramento County CCW? FBI and DOJ have been complete for 2 weeks already. This is my last step for my initial application.

          Any info is appreciated, thanks!

You have to let them know and you can add another gun replacing the one you sold. They gonna issue new card for you.

That's awesome, hopefully you get approved as soon as you complete the qualification course and upload the documents! Good luck!

                              Check it here - https://applicantstatus.doj.ca.gov/

You won't know until it clears - it can be delayed if there are any things they decide to check manually.
