I have a question for anybody that can answer it. I have my initial appoint scheduled, and was wonder if I could use a credit card bill and a bank statement as my proof of residency, since they are from the same bank. If not, can I use my parent's cell phone or insurance bill, since I am listed on it and it has my name and address? I still live at home so I don't have any bills to my name yet.
    Thanks

Have you read the instructions? http://www.sacsheriff.com/Pages/Orga.../SIIB/CCW.aspx
Two (2) pieces of proof of residency dated within the last 60 days. WE DO NOT accept overdue bills! Acceptable proof must be a monthly bill such as a utility bill, bank statement, cell phone bill, credit card statement, etc. We do not accept documents from DMV as proof of residency but we must ensure your home address is current with the California DMV. You cannot update your home address simply by registering a vehicle or updhating your vehicle registration. It can take over 72 hours for DMV to complete the update and for their database to reflect the changes.

It says credit card bill and bank statement right there. No need to double check.

I've used a bank statement before. Usually I'll go with a couple of utility bills. At any rate, it's clearly spelled out.

                Does it say you can't?

Went to schedule issuance and earliest available is early October. Now to hover over the website for cancellations..

Was able to secure an earlier appointment and completed final issuance today, just over 6mo from initial interview.

Nothing new to report, as others stated they reiterated that there will be no mods in between renewals. Sounded like there's been some discussion in regards to updating the actual license to an ID type card but nothing in stone.

                    Initial 3/10- final issuance 9/19

I'm doing my renewal and I need to put my ccw # on the renewal form. There are 3 numbers on my permit.

                        I'm guessing I put down my cii#?

As it was explained to me...

The CII number is assigned to you by the California Department of Justice. It stands for "Criminal Identification Index", and is used to record that an individual was fingerprinted. CII is also often called a RAP record (Record of Arrest and Prosecution). If anything, this would be the unique identifier linking you, your license and your record.

ORI = Originating Agency Identifier. ORI's are unique identifier used specifically for LE agencies throughout the US and territories. ORI's identify those agencies that are able to send, receive and send/receive telecommunication messages through the NCIC/NLETS system.

                          "Local Agency Number" isn't us.

SSD doesn't use a numbering system for CCW's. The CII number is your identifying number with CA DOJ and the ORI number is SSD's Agency Number for the FBI.
