Wait, what? Not at all what I was talking about. Not at all.

Um, one of bills specifically bans any firearm with a detachable magazine. Are you seriously disagreeing with that fact?

You still haven't cited the specific bill and language which concerns you.

Nonetheless, even if all detachable magazines were banned from everything, that would not impact revolvers or single shots. So, your statement that, "all firearms including handguns would be illegal to own" is wrong, by your own "analysis".

Now, please cite your specific reference so that can also be explained to you.

And, to be clear, this has NOTHING to do with SSD CCW scheduling.

You say "revolvers and single shots" like its a good thing. I don't own any revolvers or single shots so I guess it's ALL for me.

Yup. The legislators are specifically targeting YOU. Here, you dropped this:

Ummmm.....no. I said, "Even if magazines were banned from everything...". That indicates they aren't.

You, yourself, have proven your statement is wrong. You have not corroborated your position by citing a reference. This last comment makes it clear that you have no basis for any of your posts.

So we are back to the original position that your statements are FUD and nonsense.

And now, you've proven it to everyone else. Either post the specific bill which concerns you or move on. Have a lovely weekend.

Let me guess, you're referring to: AB 1663- Chiu, 2016 - Ban semi-auto rifles unless fixed magazines; drops 'features'

Did you even read the bill?

This bill would expand the classification of assault weapons to include semi-automatic center fire rifles, which are capable of accepting detachable magazines.
Or do you interpret a handgun as a semi-automatic center fire rifle?

If I'm incorrect, please state the bill you're referring to, if I am correct, please stop spreading FUD.

If you haven't already done so,

buy a little car safe so that you can store you "friend" in your car when you can't bring it inside (post offices, airports, other prohibited places).

Most come with a cable to attach themselves to the seat mount.

If you have this option available you will be less likely to leave it a home...

So, went and qualified with a new pistol Sunday to add to my permit, made the appointment that same day for the modification, got a email today from Sac sheriff that it's been cancelled because they want to address all the people that need to do address changes on their permits.....that sucks. They said to try back in march.

Sac County just updated their site and requirements. If you do NOT have all your docs, they will turn you away.
