Sac CCW Online Appointment System
The Sacramento Sheriff's CCW online appointment system will be up and running smoothly very soon. Although they had a hiccup with their new system a week or so ago, they did a great job recovering and providing customer service to all of the people who attempted to schedule appointments. They went so far as to call and/or e-mail everyone who entered any information to ensure that they weren't left behind. I say a big thumbs up for the personnel at Sac Sheriff's Dept. ^^This, I have a CCW but have a friend that wants one, so I was checking when the system crashed, well about 2 days later I got a call saying I was on the website and the guy wanted to make sure I got what I needed

I'm not getting thru on the link to the Sacramento CCW.
I can enter the site, check boxes, click a few times. No opportunity to enter my DL number. When I get to the calendar there are no available dates.
Not sure why others can get thru but not me. Anyone got ideas? I've tried using Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox. Could it be popup settings?
And, in final desperation, can I go to the Sheriffs office or call on the phone?WHAT I HAVE LEARNED SO FAR, MOSTLY THE HARD WAY

Just spoke with Amber in the office and she said that the system should be back up within 24 hours, and that there was a glitch in the system.
The city police chief CAN but reportedly won't issue CCW.My AR is 7.62x39, so that if/when we get invaded, I can shoot their ammo back at them!

City Limits
The link is still down and should be up and running very soon.
