Got the call this morning! I was at a funeral and wasn't able to return deputy Aguirre's call but I'm hoping to speak with him in the morning. A big thanks to camvoncrosshair for pushing me to get my app going, and to all those here helping make our county a safer place! Time line is as follows:
Mid March - Called for interview
6/16 interview
6/17 livescan
7/11 classroom
7/22 qualifications
10/6 got the callWTB - S&W 310 or 610 10MM Revolver.
WTB - Gen 1 Glocks

for the guys that have gone through the process, when you went to your interview did you take one money order for the administration fees totaling $100 and the $95 for DOJ or did you just take the $20 for administration fees and $95 for DOJ? I don't know if I should pay it all at once or bring the remaining $80 at the time of picking up my permit if I get approved.Comment

Today I got the call to pick up my permit! Like Bigbear I had everything in order before my interview and the process was quicker than I anticipated.
Called early Feb 2015 for interview
2/14/15 Qualified with Martinelli & Assoc.
6/22/2015 Interview and lives scan complete
10/8/2015 Permit in hand

It's been a good week for riverside cal gunners. In addition to everyone on this thread the NRA Inland Empire Members Council (IE MC) hosted a meeting with a discussion and training on how to get a Riverside or San Bernardino CCW. That meeting was attended by over 70 people who will be applying and added to the list of carriers in the county. Things are going great!If you are wondering if you can get a LTC in Riverside County: THE ANSWER IS YES!
