Riverside has caliber restrictions that would negate most long guns.

Please send me his name. I know all of the IE NRA guys and most are very well versed in CCW policies.

          Congrats and be safe!!!

I too am one of the "good guys" but was denied back in May. I never appealed but have been thinking a lot the past few weeks that I need to.

Glad the Sheriff is still pumping out the permits!

                  Congratulations, Sir...
I am really hoping the SB 1134 does not become law and ruin our renewals with the Good Sheriff.
Does anyone know if this SB does pass, will it be a case by case (files) bases as to what files, renewals, new apps. will be handled by the Sheriff or Chief of Police?

OR ...Will he say..."Here, Chief....you go ahead and handle (deny) all the new apps" or " Hey Chief, you take this stack and I'll take this stack...wink wink"

AB 1134 is an all or none clause for handling permits, but only can apply to residents of a city with their own police dept and a Chief of Police. Basically it allows a Sheriff to turn over all issuance to a Police Chief for his city. Beyond the actual city of Riverside I don't think there's a city large enough to handle their applicants with their own dept.

Regardless, Sheriff Sniff has publicly stated that if this passes he doesn't intend to use it or alter his policies as a response. In RivCo it won't make any difference.

I will be crossing my fingers with hope for all City and County Residence on this issue.

I have my interview this week. I just wanting to know if the CCW office is in the main building at Ben Clarke or if it is it's own building at the training center. I was also wanting to get your suggestions on the utilities bills need. should I take two copies of the utilities or one copy of utilities and one copy of gas?

Main Building. Enter Main Entrance, go straight past the unmanned front desk(If there is someone at the desk they will direct you), up the stairs, follow the signs on the walls(CCW UNIT). The parking lot is under construction so give yourself a few more minutes to figure that out.

Gas is a utility I believe. Car registration works as well. Take them all. The deputies will keep what they want. Good luck.
