Haha I was pre approved before training in Riverside, does that speed up the process or is that common before training?

Apologies if this is the wrong spot to post this question. The deputy in Riverside told me to email him the good cause statement. And he advised me to compare myself to my neighbor, and what would make me be qualified to get a CCW versus my neighbor. Is there a person on here a good source to message and get some feedback on this?
            thanks

              Ben Clark

Can anyone tell me how much and time wise is the qualification CCW class at Ben Clark. Any reason to Qual there verses any of the other places?

              Thanks

Ben Clark took about 4 hours of classroom training, but the deputy who ran it was great & hilarious time flew bye . Range time was about 2-3 hours. I highly recommend it , also I think it was the best bang for your buck 100$. All the deputies on the range want everyone to pass & qualify they were great

Just called today and got a date of June 26th 2019! Figured I've been talking about doing this forever and my son was just born so I guess I am rethinking things and feel that the sooner I get it the better. I was hoping someone in here could help me with my GC statement as I am new to this and would like some help with verbiage that RSO would like to see in it.

Get a 03 FFL. The rest writes itself.

What does an 03 FFL have to do with a GC for Riverside County CCW?

I HAVE MY QUALIFICATION AT BEN DAVIS ON THE 4TH OF AUGUST. ANY TIPS ON HOLSTER USED BEING IN THE WAIT BAND? MAGAZINE HOLSTER REQUIRED? ALSO IS IT STILL 2 TARGETS? IS IT TIMED? REQUIRED TO RELOAD? ANY TIPS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED. DONT KNOW IF THEY CHANGED UP THE QUALIFYING PROCESS. ALSO IS THERE ANYWHERE LOCAL TO BUY A VEST SO I DONT HAVE TO USE AN OLD STINKY ONE LOL.

Had my qualifying 7-4. They mentioned holster just had to have some retention, but they never checked. I had no magazine holster. With each weapon you are qualifying with you shoot 15 yards 6 shots, 7 yards 6 shots and 5 yards six shots. Human target you have to hit the black, & do not hit the wood low. It was a lot of fun & the deputies were great in helping people.

Congratulations. I did my qual 7/7 as well. When did you do your interview and background check?
