I have recently moved to menifee and have my ccw appointment in approximately 2 weeks. I have my orange county ccw that will expire on june 20th via the 90 day window after moving. I've read a couple posts where personal protection is now accepted, can anyone confirm this. Also, since I already have the appointment, can I fill out the application online? If nobody is sure, I'm planning on calling tomorrow afternoon but figured I would inquire here first. Thanks in advance for the assistance.

When I did mine the person who did my live scan told me to send a copy of the pink one to the investigator.

Yeah I sent in my copy of livescan because I had to do my livescan in Moreno Valley because Riverside was booked up.

Does anyone have a sample or idea of what else is needed in the good moral character letter riverside requires? I have people willing to do it, but outside of the info that riverside lists I have no idea what is needed.

Make sure they acknowledge you are applying for riverside county sheriff
Then write how long they know you and some personal ways they can show you have good moral character

I got that part from the web page, and forwarded it to the folks doing the letters for me. I will share with them the info you provided as well, thanks!

Oh, just thought of this, do they need to be signed or can the name just be printed at the foot so I can have them email it over to me?

I had mine typed and printed out, then actual hand signed and dated by each person.

Investigator told me to have it signed by the person writing the letter, I read in previous posts that sooner dates on letter is better.
