Im going in for renewal soon. Anyone that’s done renewal before, do they expect you to change or update your good cause or can/should you keep it the same? My good cause still applies and I don’t want to change it if it worked before.

I'd copy and paste what your GC was two years ago. No need to reinvent the wheel when nothing has changed. You should be good to go.

If you question it then call Yezzo.

No. When I qualified in Nov 2016, they would NOT allow serpa's on the range. I saw one of my classmates have to borrow another holster from someone else.

Just heard on the radio today that hemet will issuing ccw called and confirmed and was true. So for all you hemet residents sign up 3-4 month wait and don't quote me but I believe about same cost as riverside $3??

So far, other cities have about a $250 premium over County, but 1-3 mos vs 2 years? Each individual has to decide on value.

My question is the Good Cause portion - will the Cities have a different bar (ie "Self Defense") than the county?

LTC became a real cash cow for Texas, as over a million residents had LTC at $140 fees. Lately they reduced this fee because of so much complaining (5 year LTC license for $70 now) but if counties and cities in CA start competing with each other to issue CCW, that's a really good thing for us.

About $800 total for the license!?!
Hope there is a pre approval before the initial 295.00 app fee. (I attached the fee schedule)

Looking forward to Chad Bianco as Riverside county Sheriff in 2018.
Hopefully he can improve and expedite the long wait times for initial ccw interviews/ applications.

You are better off e mailing I waited a week after calling and no answer I then e mailed and heard back the same day within 2 hours.
