Psych said they don't know why some get sent.

Maybe OCSD wondered what type of person has no driving infractions on their record.

Get your stuff in order now. It's not uncommon to get bumped. Some have been taken by surprised when they've received a call saying something opened up the following day.

Can anyone give me an idea of how long the initial interview is? My appointment is set for 2PM, I was hoping to take my training at a nearby range at 4PM.

        Doable?

My interview was about ~30mins, however I was in the waiting room 30-45 mins. after my initial appt. time before my name was called to go in. Granted this was almost a year ago so they may have streamlined the process. I would say it's doable but personally would schedule them different days if you have flexibility.

                  Congratulations, Diver!

I really like OC Firearms. In fact, I recommended them in this thread (since the OP originally had rated an OC LGS).

OC Firearms does CCW training class? Didn't see anything on their website....

I'm compiling possible spots for So.OC CCW class this summer, have the commonly mentioned ones already noted...

I don't know about classes there. I was just agreeing that it is a good place (in general).

You'll need your CA driver's license.

Pending on your good cause statement, you may want to bring photographs, receipts, any documentation that helps support your good cause statement.

My apologies. My short hand laziness has led to confusion.

OC firearms in my post referred to OC firearms Training Academy

Do you have a summary or evaluation of your CCW class with them posted somewhere in these threads previously?

Pros/cons of classroom and range courses? Instructor attitudes, presentation, helpfulness? Need holster, or no? Did you add Arizona/Nevada/etc. CCW course?

                                Thanks for any info!
