You pay by check or money order, look over your card to ensure there at no mistakes, show them you're original training cert, if they ask and you're done. It will be longer or shorter depending on the amount of chit-chat.

They asked me to bring my original training cert with me, IIRC.

I just contacted them and said there is s back log in the live scan process. 3.5 months since live scan. Grrrr

Just went in for my initial interview and was very pleased with the whole process. Met with the investigator and was told to proceed with livescan and with training. Also told that once the Lieutenant receives both items I should be good to go.

10/16 request initial
1/12/16 initial postponed by me
5/4/16 livescan done early / 7/22/ 16 still in process
5/19/16 initial interview
5/20/16 residence check. I happen to just get home and having a beer when the sheriff showed up.
7/16/16 was asked for supporting docs to good cause
7/21/16 sent over supporting docs for good cause
