Pre CCW class. Then two more days. $25 total. Why is the pre class needed? Just seems like a way to give them more money.

Did you even read the description? It's for people who have never drawn from a holster or shot competitively. It let's then get familiar with the commands and drills. It's not mandatory. TJ is a great instructor and he's on my short list to train with.

I understand that, but some folk might feel obligated to purchase all because they don't want to be denied.

Be denied what? I don't follow. To me it just seems like you're trying to find the cheapest route possible, which is understandable. But skimping out on training just seems like a bad idea to me. Good training commands a premium.

Hey guys, i have a question. I just recently had my interview. I do want to add something else on my already submitted app which only came to mind after the fact. Do you folks think it would be ok to send an email with more info to the IO to add to my app or is it too late? I was given the livescan instruction paper after the interview that has the IOs email.

                Care to be more specific?

High probability that, if it wasn't important enough for you to remember before the interview, it probably isn't a game-changer now.

Don't worry about it. If they need it, they'll ask for it.

I view the Livescan info as a go ahead to the next level.

"My wife wears her engagement/wedding band valued at around $1500 and plans to note that on her GC."
People are really listing out the jewelry that they wear in their Good Cause statement? Why not include the fact that you drive a car that is worth over $15k? Or even a $800 Iphone? $150 pair of Nike Flyknit Racers?
Does this actually work? If it does, I don't understand how any GC statement aside from "shootin da bad guys" can be rejected.

That's for people new (or rusty with) drawing from the holster or firearms in general. In the shooting portion of the two-day class he gets into shooting drills relatively quickly, so if you have not been in a full one or two day basic pistol class before the pre-ccw is probably for you.

With all due respect, if this is the case, the permit doesn't happen. No IA is going to issue for protection of property. The wife would be better served to insure the ring for $15k and hope it is stolen.
