Had my initial interview today. Investigator was really easy going and made the process comfortable and said if I ever had any questions not to hesitate to contact him. Told me to go and get my LiveScan as soon as possible as it takes 10wks to land on their desk.

Had to do with my job, carrying large amounts of cash, being known and living near my place of business and running into customers and being recognized often. To make a long one short.

I applied for a permit in September 2015 and did my livescan the same day. Just rec'd an email that my CCW has been conditionally approved based upon passing the firearms training.

That all sounds about right. If your GC was shakey he would have told you to beef it up. If he told you to get LiveScanned that's good too. You might as well get your training too so you don't have to wait.

I was thinking of doing just that, the training. I would benefit from it even if it was required for the LTC.

I didn't mention. Everyone was great and the interviewer quickly put me at ease.
